Co-Founder, Places in Common
Lisa is Co-Founder of Places in Common - a Cooperative which collaborates with communities to pursue system change with a focus on climate action and justice. Lisa’s work with the University of Birmingham and Tyseley Energy Park has informed the development of a ‘quadruple helix’ model that brings together communities of place and practice in the shaping of shared understanding and net zero pathways. She has worked across the public, private and academic sectors and acted as a specialist adviser to a number of policy commissions. Lisa is Co-Chair of Labour’s Environment Campaign ‘SERA’ and is a Councillor in Birmingham.
