Louise is Head of Policy and Public Affairs for the UK Green Building Council. She leads UKGBC’s campaigns for urgent government action to transform our homes and buildings in response to the climate and nature emergencies and cost of living crisis.

Louise’s background is in global climate advocacy working to green the world’s cities for the World Resources Institute, C40 and the New Climate Economy and acting as a senior advisor to Latin American government ministers during the Paris climate negotiations. Before that, she led Greenpeace UK’s successful campaigns to drive coal and fracking from the UK energy system.
