Mike is a Director in Arup’s Property, Science and Industry team in London A mechanical engineer by background Mike has over twenty year experience in the built environment. Mike’s work is primarily in the commercial and residential sectors and he leads Arup’s building retrofit service in London. He also leads research and recently led and co-authored a number of industry publications for CIBSE and CIRIA (pronounced Sih- Ree-er) over the last 2 years. He also led the Arup team who carried out a UK wide study on the risks, mitigation and costs of overheating risk in UK housing for the Climate Change Committee.
