George co-leads the Heat Network Delivery Unit (HNDU) in DESNZ. Before George joined DESNZ almost 10 years ago he specialised in corporate and project finance advisory for heat network development. Before that he worked in the water and new nuclear build sectors. George’s current focus in the Department is on standardising the procurement of developers to lead zonal scale heat networks across the country and he leads on this aspect of both the Advanced Zoning Programme (AZP) and the “Routes to Market” workstream within the planned Heat Network Zoning Regulations work.
